"RUSHBROOK has a strong pedigree and great history. Formed in 1999 by four chartered engineers specialising in fire engineering and fire investigation, the firm took its name from Dr Frank Rushbrook, former Firemaster in Edinburgh, and renowned fire investigator. Dr. Rushbrook was always a strong supporter of fire safety engineering and the development of young talent, through his connections with the University of Edinburgh, where a Fire Laboratory is named after him and also a Frank Rushbrook Fund. This interest and enthusiasm continued until his death in 2014 at the age of 99. A number of other well respected Fire Engineers started their careers at the firm, and are now making a significant contribution to the fire engineering profession in Scotland and beyond".
Al Brown, Managing Director of RUSHBROOK said:
“The integration of RUSHBROOK with BB7 will enable the founding values and legacy of the firm to live on, and I’ll continue to be on hand to support the smooth transition of existing clients and projects. BB7 has a great reputation, and I am pleased our staff and clients are in safe hands”.
